Women, get on the bikes!
nextbike has a gender gap: on average, only 30% of our customers are women, as opposed to 70% men. And in general, more men than women in Germany ride bikes. There must be more to it than that! What are we doing to convince more women: We speak inclusively, we depict female users. Do you know the bike type filter?
Would you like to rent an e-bike but don't know how to find one near you? Then use the filter in your app! In many cities, we offer e-bikes, cargobikes or e-cargobikes in addition to normal bikes. If you are in a city where there are several types of bike or if you move the map to such a city, a filter symbol will appear. Activate the filter and select the bike type(s) you are looking for.
